Idaho Springs to Breckenridge

The Colorado Classic Tour begins with a great climb over the
continental divide and Loveland Pass (11,990 ft.). We descend through Keystone,
Lake Dillon, climb over Swan Mountain and arrive in the classic Victorian town
of Breckenridge.
If you need more views we offer extra credit by climbing Hoosier
Pass (11,541 ft.) before returning to the Great Divide Lodge in Breckenridge.

| Day Two

The next day greets us with a beautiful rolling bike path leading
riders to Copper Mountain Resort and then climbing over Fremont Pass (11,318
ft.). We descend to Leadville then climb over Tennessee Pass (10,424 ft.)
greeted by sweeping views, steep canyons and smooth pavement as the cyclists
finish up today’s journey in Vail, Colorado.
Cyclists that yearn for more extra credit can climb up Vail Pass
(10,666 ft.) before returning to the Vail Village for your luxurious stay at
the Lodge at Vail.

After a lot of climbing it is time to change the landscape as we
journey north through rolling terrain that will take us to Steamboat Springs. A
rest day gives the riders the chance to relax at the mineral baths and Hot
Springs resorts.
There is an optional ride (55 miles) to Steamboat Lake with great
views and a lunch stop. Back in town the gondola rides, lunch spots and western
hospitality in Steamboat are superb.

Day Five

The road out of Steamboat climbs quickly over Rabbit Ears Pass (
9,426 ft.) and then descends through high mountain plains to Grand Lake in
Rocky Mountain National Park.
Another rest day awaits riders to enjoy boating, horseback riding,
hiking and massage in this beautiful mountain setting. Of course there is an
optional ride up Trail Ridge Road (12,183 ft.) 48 miles round trip or a van
ride to Estes Park for shopping and souvenir hunting.

| Day Seven

Grand Lake to Idaho

We depart Grand Lake and ride through Winter Park and over Berthoud
Pass (11,315 ft.) then descend through the Front Range Mountains with our
finish at the Indian Hot Springs Resort.
Cyclists can enjoy a relaxing soak, dining on the deck and prepare
for departures home.
