Idaho Springs to Breckenridge

The Colorado Classic Tour begins with a great climb over the
continental divide and Loveland Pass (11,990 ft.). We descend through Keystone,
Lake Dillon, climb over Swan Mountain and arrive in the classic Victorian town
of Breckenridge.
If you need more views we offer extra credit by climbing Hoosier
Pass (11,541 ft.) before returning to the Great Divide Lodge in Breckenridge.

| Day Two

The next day greets us with a beautiful rolling bike path leading
riders to Copper Mountain Resort and then climbing over Fremont Pass (11,318
ft.). We descend to Leadville then climb over Tennessee Pass (10,424 ft.)
greeted by sweeping views, steep canyons and smooth pavement as the cyclists
finish up todays journey in Beaver Creek, Colorado.

After a lot of climbing it is time to change the landscape as we
journey north through rolling terrain that will take us to Steamboat Springs.

A rest day in beautiful Steamboat Springs gives the riders the
chance to relax at the mineral baths and Hot Springs resorts. Enjoy

The road out of Steamboat climbs quickly over Rabbit Ears Pass (
9,426 ft.) and then descends through high mountain plains to Grand Lake in
Rocky Mountain National Park.

We cycle out of Grand Lake with spectacular views of Rocky Mountain
National Park. We climb Trail Ridge Road - the highest continuous road In the
USA - and descend into Estes Park for lots of fun activities. Some

We depart Estes Park on the final leg of our
journey. With great views of Longs Peak accompanying us, we cycle through
the Front Range Mountains and arrive to experience the quaint town
of Ward, Colorado. We then descend into Boulder, Colorado
taking with us great memories of Colorado and our Tour-mates.
Cyclists can enjoy a relaxing shower, change, refresh and
prepare for the departure home.
